As a transgender mother who has endured the unimaginable loss of her child to violence, Aya channels her grief into purpose—using her voice, her music, and her writing to illuminate injustice and inspire healing. She collaborates with nonprofits across the country, including her role as a grant writer for the Wildflower Nest Foundation in Austin, Texas, and as a community health worker with Haus of Transcendent.
